High-Efficiency M6 F6 Synthetic Pocket Filter from Reliable China Suppliers & Factory
What is Synthetic Pocket Filter?
The filter material is made of high-performance non-woven fabric by the thermal melting process, to avoid the discomfort caused to the human body by old-fashioned glass fiber materials. The filter material contains electrostatic fiber, which has an excellent filtering effect on sub-micron dust.
Features
- Extra long service life
- High burst resistance
- Large surface area
- Fits all commonly used filter frames
- High efficiencies at low pressure drops
- Uniform identification is used for appearance color, which is easy to identify.
Application
The pocket filter is suitable for intermediate filtration in an air conditioning system. It is located in front of the HEPA filter.
It is mainly used to filter 1-5 megabytes of dust particles to protect the lower filters in the system and the system itself. It has the advantages of small resistance and a large volume of air. Optional style has bag type, frame type, and combination type.

How often should bag filters be replaced?
Replacement Cycle:
- Under the rated air volume, it needs to be replaced in 3 - 6 months.
- Resistance of 450Pa or more must be replaced.
- If it is washable filter material, it can be washed with clean water or neutral detergent solution to dry and then used, washed up to two times, and then replaced.
- The dust concentration in the environment is large, and the service life will be shortened.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is the main advantage of using a synthetic pocket filter?
The primary advantage is that it is made from high-performance non-woven fabric, completely avoiding the skin and respiratory discomfort often caused by traditional glass fiber materials. It also contains electrostatic fibers that provide exceptional sub-micron dust filtration with low resistance.
Can synthetic pocket filters be cleaned and reused?
Yes, if the filter is explicitly made of washable material, it can be gently washed with clean water or a neutral detergent solution. After completely drying, it can be reused. However, it is generally recommended to wash it a maximum of two times before fully replacing it to ensure optimal filtration efficiency.
Where are bag filters typically installed in an HVAC system?
Bag filters, or pocket filters, are usually installed as intermediate filtration units within an air conditioning or ventilation system. They are typically positioned directly in front of HEPA filters to capture 1-5 micron dust particles, thereby protecting and extending the lifespan of the more expensive HEPA filters downstream.
What is the maximum operating temperature for these filters?
These synthetic bag filters have a standard temperature resistance of 80°C, with a maximum allowable peak temperature of up to 100°C. They can also operate effectively in environments with up to 100% relative humidity.
How do I know when it's time to replace the filter?
You should replace the filter every 3 to 6 months under rated air volume conditions. Alternatively, if your system's pressure gauge indicates a resistance (pressure drop) reaching 450 Pa or more, immediate replacement is required. High dust environments will also shorten this standard lifespan.
Are custom sizes available for different filter frames?
Yes. While the standard sizes like 592×592×600 mm fit all commonly used filter frames, the specifications (including bag quantity, dimensions, and frame materials like Aluminum, Galvanized steel, or Plastic) can be customized according to your specific system requirements.
